Charlie was welcomed into our house at the age of 6 weeks and what a learning curve he was. He was my first dog and had been a pleasure to own over the years, you couldnt of asked for a more loyal companion. He never attended any training classes as I was too young and my parents never had the interest but I always used to train him and taught him many tricks, you would often find us sat together in the garden or out walking for hours at a time.
18 months before we had to let Charlie go we thought we might lose him as he suffered a stroke but he recovered really well and you wouldnt have known it looking at him afterwards, he still had mad spurts when he acted like a puppy.
Over the years Charlie had a lot of patience welcoming other dogs, cats and small animals into our home.
